7.9. DISMANTLING PLATFORM LEVER BELT AND PRIMARY
CONNECTION BELT

PLATFORM LEVER BELT
1. Open the housing of the swivel terminal covering on the platform
lever (2 screws, Phillips screwdriver).
2. Unlock the crimping of the belt end. Use a 27mm wrench on the belt
end and pliers on the ring nut of the crimping.
3. Disconnect the crimping from the swivel terminal of the belt (21mm
wrench).
4. Disconnect the crimping from the double cam shaft (5mm hex
wrench).
5. Remove the belt pulley on the end side of the handlebar (remove the
snap ring).
6. Remove the belt from the handlebar.
NOTE: during the reassembling phase, put the platform lever
completely down and check that the measure “A” of the length
from the handlebar frame to the swivel terminal
of the belt is
1000mm±1mm.
PRIMARY connection BELT
7. Cut the cable ties and free the crimping connected to the connection
rod of the primary shaft.
8. Unlock the crimping of the belt end. Use a 27mm wrench on the belt
end and pliers on the ring nut of the crimping.
9. Disconnect the crimping from the swivel terminal of the belt (21mm
wrench).
10. Disconnect the crimping from the double cam shaft (5mm hex
wrench).
11. Remove the Primary connection belt.
NOTE: during the reassembling phase, block the external pulley
of the double pulley shaft to the frame, using an M10 bolt in the
proper holes. Screw the crimping until the belt is correctly tighten.
