C Bus
The PICO-IMX6UL-EMMC incorporates several I
2
C interfaces. I
2
C is a two-wire, bidirectional serial
bus that provides a simple, efficient method of data exchange, minimizing the interconnection
between devices. This bus is suitable for applications requiring occasional communications over a
short distance between many devices.
The following features are supported:
Compliance with Philips I
2
C specification version 2.1
Multiple-master operation
Support for standard mode (up to 100K bits/s) and fast mode (up to 400K bits/s)
Arbitration-lost interrupt with automatic mode switching from master to slave
For additional details, please refer to the “I2C Controller (I2C)” chapter of the “i.MX6Ultralite
Application Processor
Reference Manual”.
