7. Channel Selection
Press F key 1 time to activate the chan-
nel setting mode.
Press on of the
selector keys [

▼
] momentarily to
select the channel number 1-8.
8. Tone Call Selection
Press the F key 2 times to activate the
tone call setting mode. Press one of the
selector keys [
▲
▼
] to choose beep
tone C1-C7.
How to operate :
Press and hold PTT then press [C] call
tone key (6) to transmit a tone call to the
target transceiver.
Purpose : 7 different tones can convey
various ideas to one another. One can
also identify from tones whose transceiv-
er is making the call.
9. VOX Voice Activated Function
Press F key 3 times to
activate VOX setting
mode. Press one of the
selector keys [
▲ ▼
] to
set On/Off.
Purpose : “VOX on”
function transmitts voice
automatically by elimmenating necessity
to press PTT for each time one talks.
This can also be used as a baby monitor
by which one can learn his baby’s condi-
tion remotely.
