Press PTT or F key to choose it.. To set
CTCSS “Off” press C key a few seconds
till CTCSS number disappears.
Purpose : CTCSS helps one avoid inter-
ferences and is recommended in radio
signal-congested area. It is a must to
have CTCSS in order to activate Remote
Monitor Function.
14 Auto Channel Scanning
You are recommended to set off CTCSS
before scanning. Press F key 1 time to
activate channel setting mode. Press
and hold selector key [

] or [
▼
] a few
seconds to start scanning. Any channel
carrying a call will be sought out and fixed
a while as long as signal fades out. Scan
resumes till next channel with a call is
found again.. Press PTT or F key to stop
scanning.
Purpose : Scanning helps you locate
used channels as well as find out a free
one.
