5.1 Connecting to TV
Connecting to CVBS/L/R/S-Video ports:
a)
Put your unit on a firm, level surface with at least a 10 cm gap around all the sides and the
TV you are going to connect it to.
b)
Turn off the mains socket your TV is plugged into or pull the plug out of the socket.
c)
Take the aerial lead out of the TV and connect it to the RF IN connector on the back panel
of the unit.
d)
Connect the RF cable (not supplied) between the RF OUT socket on the unit and the
aerial socket on the TV. This cable will allow you to watch TV programs as you did before
but with the unit connected.
e)
Connect the three AV cables between the “CVBS R L” sockets on the unit and the same
sockets on your TV.
f)
Plug the mains lead into the mains socket.
g)
Plug the TV back into the mains socket.
h)
Turn on the power switch at the back of the unit.
Fig5-1 is an illustration for connection of AV cables (CVBS R L S-Video) between the unit and
TV. The connections of YPbPr are similar with that, as shown in Fig5-2.
