You can set the max length of time-shifting to save disk space through Audio & Video Setting
menu (see page 38 for details).
If you paused the program, or doing FF/REW, you can see the Time-Shifting information bar
as below.
There is a time indicator next to the progress bar in format such as “-00:03:20/00:30:00”,
where the first part “-00:03:30” means at the moment you need 3 minutes and 30 seconds to
catch up with the live, “00:30:00” means the total time-shifting length is 30 minutes.
Then press key to resume the program but with a time difference between the live TV
(called Time-Shifting). You can then rewind, fast forward and play through the “live” program
(see section in Chapter on Page
28)

Note:
1.The unit starts to record the program you are watching into a temporary file
named “TimeShift” under the root directory of the disk when you pause the live.
2.The slow motion playback is disabled in time-shifting playback.
Note:
If you pause a live program longer than the length set, you will exit Time-shifting
mode and return to live TV automatically.
