Listening to Record
You can enjoy records (analog discs) by the DC-D2700.
1. Set FUNCTION to PHONO position.
2. Open the record player's cover.
3. Release the tonearm clamp and open the needle
guard.
4. Place a record on the platter cover the central
spindle.
* Place the EP adaptor over the central spindle when
playing 7" (17 cm) EP records.
5. Set the Speed selector to the appropriate speed; 33
or 45 rpm.
6. Lift the tonearm, move it to the first track of the
record.
The turntable starts rotating.
7. Place the needle gently on the record.
Playback starts.
8. At the end of the record, the turntable will automati-
cally stop. Lift the tonearm back to the tonearm
clamp and remove the record.
To stop playback on the way:
Lift the tonearm from the record and return it to the
clamp.
Notes:

Do not turn or attempt to stop the platter by hand.

Moving the unit without securing the tonearm may
damage the needle.
