Before You Disconnect the Cable from the Computer’s USB Port

TEAC PortaCD-RW User’s Manual

Plug the AC adapter cable into a power outlet.

This turns on the power to the PortaCD-RW drive and concludes the
procedure for physically connecting the drive to your Apple Macintosh
computer.

There is no need to install a software driver. This functionality is contained
within the Mac OS. However you need to install Toast pre-mastering
software. See “Installing Toast Software” on page 51 for more information.

Before You Disconnect the Cable from the Computer’s USB Port

Before you disconnect the cable from the computer’s USB port, remove any
inserted discs from the PortaCD-RW drive.
