Many mixing consoles do not feature balanced insert points and thereby downgrade these signals
compared to the balanced main inputs. The result is potential hum and noise induced when using
standard insert cables. To eliminate this noise the C400XL has special designed ground sensing
inputs and outputs, which are "enabled" by using a ground-sensing split cable.
Use this cable type if you are connecting to a mixer with true balanced insert points on XLR.
