Adjustments and operations
• Never allow the approximation of people or animals during operation.
• The rotating discs have a high accident risk.
• Have special care with all moving parts.
• Do not adjust the spreader when it is in movement or when the
transmission is activated.
• Never use the equipment without its protective devices.
The amount of product to be distributed (kg/hectares) takes into account the following
points:
1) Displacement speed of the tractor:
6 to 7 km/h.
2) For spreaders that are activated by the cardan shaft - PTO rotation speed:
540 rpm.
For spreaders with hydraulic activation - Oil flow rate:
45l/min.
3) The transmission sprockets combination, which determines the conveyor speed:
Check table.
4) The opening of the gate, determined by the graduated scale:
Check table.
5) Distance between distribution bands.
6) Specific weight of the product, which is directly related to its granulometry and
density.
