Conveyor tension adjustment
Before you start working, check the conveyor tension in the following way:
• Shut down the tractor engine and PTO.
• Push the conveyor upward and check if there is a clearance up to 50 mm.
• If the clearance is greater, readjust the conveyor tension using the tightener (A) and
loosening up the nuts (B), which have an adjustment through the slots and lock nut (C).
NOTE • Retighten both sides likewise, avoiding disalignment of the conveyor.
• Check the conveyor tension in the first hours of service. After that, check
it daily.
• When the tightener (A) adjustment is done, it is required to shorten the
conveyor length by removing some segments.
