Do a check for inflation and condition of
your vehicle tyres periodically.
Examine the pressure in the tyres when
they are cold.
Keep the correct pressure in the tyres for
the best combination of riding comfort,
handling, tyre life and optimum perfor-
mance.
Over inflation of tyres makes the vehicle
ride bumpy and harsh. Tyres are more
prone to uneven wear and damage from
road hazards.
Under inflated tyres reduce comfort, af-
fects handling and increases the operat-
ing temperature, which can result in fail-
ure. They also cause uneven wear and
bring down the performance of the car.
NOTE
Every time you check inflation pres-
sure, you should also examine tyres
for damage, trapping of foreign ob-
jects in the treads and wear.
