Vehicle Parking at One Place for
Long Duration
(Non - Use Maintenance)
If you want to park your vehicle at one
place for long duration, following care is
to be taken:
1.
Park the vehicle in covered, dry and
if possible well-ventilated premises.
2.
Remove the battery terminal cables
(first remove the cable from the neg-
ative terminal using insulated span-
ner, provided in toolkit).
3.
Use wheel chocks or engage in the
drive mode.
4.
Clean and protect the painted parts
using protective wax.
5.
Clean and protect the shiny metal
parts using commercially available
special compounds.
6.
Sprinkle talcum powder on the rub-
ber windscreen wiper and lift them
off the glass.
7.
Slightly open the windows.
8.
Cover the vehicle with a cloth or per-
forated plastic sheet. Do not use
sheets of imperforated plastic as
they do not allow moisture on the ve-
hicle body to evaporate.
9.
Inflate the tyre to
0.5
bar above the
normal specified pressure and check
it at regular intervals.
In case of long storage of vehicle in
Stock yard/Showroom/workshop
It’s recommended to store the vehicle
around
50
% SOC for up to
6
Months.

Vehicle disconnect procedure
a. Turn off the Key (HV will dis connect
immediately)
b. Disconnect Aux battery.

Vehicle connect procedure
a. Connect LV line (connect aux battery
connection/Fuse, make sure aux
battery voltage is more than
12
V).
b. Turn on Key/Plug for charge (make
sure charging up to
100
% SOC).
Reverse Park
Assist
Reverse Park Assist system is an elec-
tronic parking aid that will assist you to
park your vehicle safely when in reverse
gear mode. It provides audio and visual
information through the vehicles info-
tainment system.
Always look at surrounding before initiat-
ing reverse parking, for kids, pets and el-
derly people moving around the vehicle.
