CONTROLS & FEATURES – Speedometer and Temperature Gauge
Speedometer
The vehicle speedometer indicates the current speed of the car in kilometers per
hour (km/h). The speedometer contains markings in 2 km/h graduations. An
overspeed warning indicator (If Equipped), 1, will illuminate when the vehicle
speed is at 120 km/h or above.
Temperature Gauge
The engine coolant temperature gauge is located within the speedometer gauge
face. The temperature gauge provides the operator with the temperature of the
coolant flowing through the engine. When the gauge needle is within the white
zone of the gauge; the engine is running normally. When the gauge needle
reaches the red zone of the gauge, the high temperature warning indicator, 2, will
illuminate to alert the driver of the overheating condition.
If the engine overheats, low coolant or a defective component may be the cause.
Refer to “Section 5 - Maintenance and Care” in this manual.
WARNING
Never drive faster than road conditions warrant and never exceed
the maximum vehicle speed of 150 km/h; loss of vehicle control
may occur and cause severe injury or death.
Do not drive faster than the posted speed limit.
