Blinking blue/red (once per second)
The unit firmware is being updated.
Device ID confirmation mode
STATUS/SAMPLE RATE indicators and, according
to device ID number, OUTPUT channel LEDs blink
(once per second)
This is the state when the device ID set in the unit
is being shown.
Device ID changing mode
STATUS/SAMPLE RATE indicators and, according
to device ID number, OUTPUT channel LEDs blink
(twice per second)
This is the state when the device ID set in the unit
is being changed.
Safe mode
STATUS/SAMPLE RATE/PRIMARY/SECONDARY LEDs
blink (once per second)
The unit is in safe mode.

RESET button
Pressing the RESET button while the unit is powered and
operating will restore network address settings and all other
unit settings to their factory defaults. (see “Restoring factory

GPIO connector
This is a 25-pin D-sub Parallel control input/output
connector.
Use this to connect an external controller. (see “Dante
Controller overview” on page 27)

AC IN connector
Connect the included power cord here.

EXT DC IN connector
Connect external DC power here.
Use a power supply that has a 11V -27V Limited Power
Source (LPS) rating for output voltage with the EXT DC IN
connector.
The connector is XLR-4-32 equivalent (1: –, 2: NC, 3: NC, 4: +).

PRIMARY connector
This is the main etherCON Cat5e-compatible Dante
transmission connector.
Use this to connect to a Dante network all the time.

SECONDARY connector
This is the secondary etherCON Cat5e-compatible Dante
transmission connector. The use changes depending on the
mode.
When in redundant mode, this connects to the secondary
Dante network.
When in switched (daisy chain) mode, use to connect
another Dante device in the chain.
