Analog input connectors
These analog inputs are balanced XLR jacks.

INPUT SIG indicators
48V Indicators
These light when phantom power is on.
INPUT SIG indicators
These light when sound is being input through the
analog inputs.
Input is judged to have occurred when the signal level
exceeds -40 dBFS.
OL indicators
These light when analog input signals overload.

OUTPUT SIG indicators
These light when sound is being output through the analog
outputs.
Output is judged to have occurred when the signal level
exceeds -40 dBFS.

These analog outputs are XLR jacks.

DC POWER indicator

This indicator will light when a DC power supply is
connected.

This will blink to show that voltage is low when it
approaches the threshold voltage value set in advance on
the Sonicview 16/24 or using the TASCAM IO CONTROL
app.

DC POWER button

When operating only with DC power, press and hold this
button to turn the power on/off.
i
Using this button is unnecessary when operating with AC
power because it will start up automatically.

STATUS indicators
The STATUS indicators shows the state of the unit by lighting
blue or red or staying unlit.

ID button
The device ID setting of this unit can be checked and
changed.
See “Device ID settings” on page 25 for setting procedures.

SAMPLE RATE indicators
The lighting of the two SAMPLE RATE indicators (48 kHz/96
kHz) shows the sampling frequency state of the unit.

PRIMARY/SECONDARY indicators
These light to show the Dante network status.
Communication is at 1 Gbps when lit and at 100 Mbps when
blinking.

Note
Ordinary operation
Lit blue
The unit is operating normally.
Malfunctioning (Dante)
Rapidly flashing red (four times per second)
The Dante module is malfunctioning.
Muted
Lit red
The indicator lights red when the clock is
stabilizing after the unit starts up and when the
sampling frequency or other Dante setting has
been changed, for example.
Dante network error
Flashing red (twice per second)
The Dante network is not connected.
Dante redundancy error
Blinking blue (once per second)
The Dante PRIMARY connector is disconnected
or another error with redundant connection has
occurred.
