4.2.1 Hardware Portion
Q1. How to solve if some users’ fingerprint always cannot get through
the attendance machine?
A1. There are some reasons why the user cannot get through the
attendance machine by his/her fingerprint:
a.
The fingerprint already tear down
b.
Skin pucker on finger
c.
Peeling seriously on finger
Due to the above circumstances, the user is advised to re-register another
finger with clear prints and register several backup fingerprints.
In addition, the user can choose the password or ID card registration.
Q2. What will be the main reason while the attendance machine
cannot communicate?
A2. Possible reasons are:
a. Incorrect communication port setting.
b. The Baud Rate setting value between the computer & attendance
machine is not the same.
c. Attendance machine has not connected to the power or not
connected to computer.
d. Attendance machine has power off.
e. Incorrect Machine no. setting.
f. Failure on the data line or converter.
g. Defective on the computer com port.
