Step 1: Connecting Antenna Cable

1. Use an antenna cable to connect the RF IN jack on the DVD recorder to the antenna outlet on the wall.
2. Use an antenna cable to connect the RF OUT jack on the DVD recorder to the RF IN jack on the
television. (Please note that this serves as a pass-through only.)
Step 2: Connecting the Video Cable
The table below lists some of the options for establishing the video and audio connections of this
DVD recorder. For reference, fi rst check the top row to select a type of video cable you wish to use;
then look down the column to see what types of audio connections are applicable. Select only one of
the applicable options to connect your DVD recorder to other devices unless specifi ed otherwise.

if you use these two cables for video connection, you do not need to establish an additional analog
audio connection.

an optical or a coaxial cable) whatever video cable you use.
