R eplacing probe wire

Probe 2/3

You can replace the probe wires for Probe 2/3 in the manner described below.

WARNING

Particular care should be paid to the keen-edged head of the probe to be replaced. Otherwise it may be an
injury to your body.

1. 

Select  [Tool]

à

  [Self  diagnosis]

à

  [Adjust  probe]

à

  [Probe  2]  /  [Probe  3]  on  the  system  and  press

[TEST START] SW. (Probe moves to the front side

2. 

Open the safe cover.

3. 

Take the probe wire out of the PCB.

4. 

Remove the probe holder and pull out the probe wire straight.

5. 

Joint a new probe wire to the probe and install the probe holder.

(NOTE)

Probe wire for Probe 2/3 is TAKAYA LS-457-01 L=310mm.

6. 

Install the probe wire up to the PCB in the direction which a figure below directs.

7. 

Put two Markers attached on the probe wire between cable holders.

8. 

Move the probe holder up and down by hand to check neither the probe wire interferes nor stuck during

the movement.

9. 

Close the Safe cover, then select [Close] and press [RESET] SW

 [TEST STOP] SW.

10.  Set the Machine Ref. Point again. (Refer to the APT-94xx Operator
