(1)  Using the L-shaped wrench (size 6), slightly 

loosen Screws A fixing the step to the gooseneck. 
(Screw A is found on each of the left  and right sides.)

(2)  Fold the step forward to fix it to the gooseneck 
 

using the screws and Screws A.

 

(Fasten each of the four screws on the left and 

 

right sides similarly.)
