Inspection Procedures
Recovery Procedures if there is a Problem
Daily Inspection Procedures
Perform the following inspection procedures in order to ensure that the chair can be used safely.
WARNING
Check that chair rotation can be
locked and unlocked by using
the rotation lock switch.
Perform the procedures indicated in "Rotating the Chair"
(p. 14). If the chair does not operate normally even after
performing these procedures, stop using the chair, turn off
the power, unplug the power plug, and contact your closest
dealer or Takara Belmont.
Perform the procedures indicated in "Raising/Lowering the
Legrest" (p. 18). If the chair does not operate normally
even after performing these procedures, stop using the
chair, turn off the power, unplug the power plug, and
contact your closest dealer or Takara Belmont.
Perform the procedures indicated in "Reclining/Raising the
Backrest" (p. 17). If the chair does not operate normally
even after performing these procedures, stop using the
chair, turn off the power, unplug the power plug, and
contact your closest dealer or Takara Belmont.
Perform the procedures indicated in "Raising/Lowering the
Chair" (p. 15). If the chair does not operate normally even
after performing these procedures, stop using the chair,
turn off the power, unplug the power plug, and contact
your closest dealer or Takara Belmont.
Perform the procedures indicated in "Using the auto-return
function" (p. 20). If the chair does not operate normally
even after performing these procedures, stop using the
chair, turn off the power, unplug the power plug, and
contact your closest dealer or Takara Belmont.
Perform the procedures indicated in "Using the preset
function" (p. 19). If the chair does not operate normally
even after performing these procedures, stop using the
chair, turn off the power, unplug the power plug, and
contact your closest dealer or Takara Belmont.
Check that none of the operating switches are pressed.
After checking that there is no object on top of the foot
control or similar problem, turn off the power switch, and
wait approximately five seconds before turning on the
power switch again. If the alarm still sounds, stop using the
chair, turn off the power, unplug the power plug, and
contact your closest dealer or Takara Belmont.
Turn off the power switch, and wait approximately five
seconds before turning on the power switch again. If the
alarm still sounds, stop using the chair, turn off the power,
unplug the power plug, and contact your closest dealer or
Takara Belmont.
Check that the chair legrest can
be raised and lowered by using
the legrest switch.
Check that the chair backrest can
be reclined and raised by using
the backrest switch.
Check that the chair raises and
lowers by using the UP/DOWN
switches.
Check that the chair moves normally
to the initial position (position for
getting in or out of the chair) by
using the auto-return switch.
Check that the chair moves
normally to the preset positions
by using the preset switches.
Check that, approximately five
seconds after turning on the
power switch, a double beep
with five pauses is not emitted
intermittently.
Turn on the power switch, and
check that a double beep with
one to three pauses are not
emitted intermittently.
Does the chair
operate normally?
Be sure to always perform daily inspection according to the following instructions.
Failure to perform daily inspection can result in injury or damage.
