6. Binding off and finishing edge
of rib knitting
BINDING
• This method is used for binding up the
stitches of the fast row by using the yarn
of
rib knitting. Binding up is the same as
selvedge.
When you cast off.

circular knitting with waste yarn. then
brnd the last row by using the tapestry
needle as shown in the figures.
The length of the yarn for binding Is 3
times the width
of
knitting.

YOU CAN TRANSFER THE STITCHES EASILY
BY USING THE OPTIONAL TRANSFER CARRIAGE
You can transfer the stitches from KR needles to KH needles at an operatron by the
Transfer Carriage.
