12. How to knit racking pattern {II)
This pattern can be knitted by racking the
rrbber two pitches in every other row.
The example is knrtted with frne (ex. 2ply)
wool.
CASTING-ON FOR RACKING PATTERN
(II)
• This rs the same as for full needle rrb. and
set the cursors to No. 5 and No_ 7.
RACKING PATTERN (II) KNITTING
( 1) After knitting the selvedge. using the
Doubel eyelet transfer needle. transfer
the part (A) s11tches to opposite plain
ne_edles. and return the empty needles
to pos11ron A of KR bed
(2) Set the carriages as shown in the
figure.
(3) Move the connected carriage from
righl 10 lefl
14} Move the connected cam age from left
to rrght
(5) Set the racking 1nd1cator on No 7
(6} Move the connected carnage from
right to left
17} Move the connected cam age from left
to rrght
(8} Set the racking 1nd1cator on No. 5.
(9} Repeat the step (3) to (8).
