Setting The Meter
Setting your meter to the correct date and time will ensure the accuracy
of the test results. Follow the steps below when you first start using
the meter. When you change the meter battery or start using the meter
again after taking the batteries out for a period of time (ie 3 months),
you should check and update the following settings:
Entering the Setting Mode (a)
Start with the meter off (no test strip inserted). Press and hold ▲ and
▼ at the same time.
1. Setting the date
The sequence of the date setting is: YEAR → MONTH → DAY. With
the YEAR / MONTH / DAY flashing in sequence, press ▲ to select the
correct number. Press ▼.
2. Setting the time format and time
Press ▲ to select the desired time format (12h or 24h). Press ▼.
With the HOUR / MINUTE flashing in sequence, press ▲ to select the
correct number. Press ▼.
3. Setting the blood glucose and total cholesterol measuring unit
With the measuring unit flashing, press ▲ to switch between mg/dL
and mmol/L. Press ▼.
4. Setting the uric acid measuring unit
With the measuring unit flashing, press ▲ to switch between mg/dL
and µmol/L. Press ▼.
5. Setting the buzzer
With the buzzer displays, press ▲ to switch between “On” and “Off”.
Press ▼.
6. Deleting the memory
With “dEL” and “ ” on the display, press ▲ to select “no” to keep the
results in memory then press ▼ to skip. To delete all the results, press
▲ to select “yes”, and then press ▼ to delete all the memory records.
