You can assign a line preference priority to your FlexSet. This priority informs
the system as to which line, loop or trunk is selected when you make a call (lift
the handset, press the SPKR key, or dial a number on the dial pad).
Note:
If you intend to select an OUTSIDE line as the first priority, you must
program a LOOP or LINE to be able to use dialed features. When
activating a feature, press the LOOP or LINE key first, then dial the
feature access code.
Use table on
page 148
to list the programmed priorities.
Tip: This feature is useful if you make mostly trunk (external) calls. Assign a
preference to an outside line(s), and each time you make a call, you will
be connected directly to an external trunk.
To program the Preference Priority:
1. Dial Preference feature code #131.
