Revolutionen im kleinen Maßstab
If the WD-PWxxx does not work
Each decoder has been thoroughly tested before its shipment. WD-PWxxx has an extensive self-
protection mechanism which causes the partial or complete shutdown of the decoder. The result of
such a shut down will be stored inside the decoder in CV 30 and CV 49 to 56.
CV 30 as well as CV 49 to 56 can be cleared by entering a value of 0 (for CV 30) or the value of
dimm funtion (for CV 49 to 56). In the LD-1x manual the wagon decoder programming process is
described in detail. Alternatively, the reset function of the train bus can be used. For more infor-
mation on how to set up this function, please check the CV-table of the LD-1x decoder (see CV 201
ff.).
The decoder is now ready for use.
Currently, the WD-PWxxx offers the bold-printed features.
You can improve the situation with the following:
Over-current of the function outputs (CV30.2):
 Which output has a problem? (see CV 49 - CV 56)? Read-out of decoder manager.
 Check loads for short circuit.
 Use LED instead of old-fashioned light bulbs.
Over-current in the front coupling control / white base coloured cable (CV 30.6):
 Does the cable between coupling and decoder output have a defective isolation? - Especial-
ly the white/pink or white/grey cable?
 Is the coupling TC-H0 defective?
Over-current in the rear coupling control / yellow base coloured cable (CV 30.7):
 Do the cables between coupling and decoder output have an isolation defect; especially the
yellow/pink or yellow/grey cable?
 Is the coupling TC-H0 defective?
