Note: Perform a daily inspection before placing the child into
the SEGO Seating System. The procedure for this inspection can
be found in the "
Daily Inspection of SEGO " section of this User
Manual.
Hi/Low Base
The height of the Hi/Low Base can be adjusted by pressing on the foot
pedal
A (Fig. 60). The Hi/Low Base is designed to perform this adjustment while the child is seated. For safety
reasons, the foot pedal security lock B (Fig. 60) must be activated first, to prevent accidental movement of the
base.
Caution: Keep the foot pedal lock securely activated at all times when a child is in the seat.
Transferring Child Into and Out of the Seat
1. Lock the four wheels on the Hi/Low Base.
2. To release the foot pedal lock, pull on the handle and rotate it one quarter (¼) turn, then release the
handle.
3. Adjust the Hi/Low Base to its maximum height by pushing gently on the foot pedal.
4. Re-activate the foot pedal lock.
5. Transfer the child to or from the seat.
6. If applicable, refasten belt and/or harness.
Seat Angle (Tilt-in-space)
The seat angle can vary from 0⁰ to 30⁰ degrees. To adjust, first check that
the anti-tip lock knob is loosened
A (Fig. 51). Then push on the release lever
located under the seat B (Fig. 52).
Note: The tilt angle of the seat can be safely adjusted while the
child is seated.
Caution: Be sure to firmly grip the SEGO seat before activating
the tilt-in-space angle adjustment lever located on the stroller
frame.
Backrest Angle
To adjust the backrest angle, pull out the spring knob A (Fig. 46). Position the backrest
to the desired angle and release the knob.
Caution: Be sure to support the weight of the child when adjusting backrest
angle of the seat.
