9. Tray Angle (Option)
The angle of the tray can vary so as to help maintain an alignment parallel to the
ground. To adjust it, loosen the large tightening knob located on each side of the
tray A (Fig. 56). The angle of the tray can be adjusted while the user is seated.
Be sure to support the weight of the tray before loosening the knobs. Once the
angle has been adjusted, retighten the large knobs securely by hand.
10. Positioning of Sandals
Sandals for the SEGO seat come in pairs of 2. Each is fitted with Velcro soles. To
complete the assembly, you will need to:
Remove the protective film covering the Velcro sole bottom on the sandals and
position sandals at the desired spot on the footplate (Fig. 57).
Note: Once in place, the Velcro soles are extremely adherent. Please
ensure they are positioned in the desired location on the first try.
11. Adjustment: Belts & Harnesses (Optional)
11.1 Belt (Standard SEGO)
To adjust the belt, raise top flap of the
belt buckle A located below the seat
(Fig. 58.)
Set the ‘’Belt Blocker’’ B to the desired
location (Fig. 58).
11.2 Harness (Option)
Raise top flap of the belt buckle A at the top-rear of the
backrest (Fig. 59), to adjust the top harness straps. Then
undo just one of the harness straps tied at the bottom,
attached to the triangle B of the backplate, to adjust them.
Retie the strap to secure everything into place.
Frequent Adjustments for Daily Use
Synetik ErgoCare recommends that an individual with the necessary technical and clinical skills and training in
the use of the product should demonstrate to parents and caregivers how to make regular adjustments and
safety checks (See
Daily and Annual SEGO Inspection ).
Note: Keep a written record of all caregivers and family members who have been trained in the use of
the product.
