Installation and Connection
Pay attention to the information in the chapter “Preparation for
installation”!
• Choose the installation location carefully if you want to install more than one LED
panel (for instance, when lighting a large entrance area or somewhere similar).
• The LED panel is hung up at the ceiling using 4 steel ropes. For this purpose, 4 suit-
able installation sets are included in the delivery.
Each installation set consists of a steel cable (can be shortened to any length), a
ceiling mounting and a special screw for the LED panel.
• First attach the 4 ceiling mountings to the ceiling using suitable screws and plugs so
that a square with the edge length of 216 mm is created.
• Insert one steel cable each in the cable holding
fi
xture of the ceiling mountings. An
integrated lock prevents the steel cable from being pulled out again. If the lock is
released (press the sleeve in slightly), the steel cable can be adjusted in length. If you
release the sleeve, a spring will ensure that the lock is automatically fastened again.
• Screw the special screws in the corresponding threaded
fi
ttings on the back side of
the LED panel.
• Place the ends of the 4 steel cables into the opening of the special screw. As with the
ceiling mounting, there is also a lock in the screw that prevents the steel cable from
being pulled out again after being inserted.
If you wish to adjust the length of the steel cable you can unfasten the lock by slightly
pushing the sleeve in. If you release the sleeve, a spring will ensure that the lock is
automatically fastened again.
• Depending on the ceiling height or the desired suspension of the LED panel, the
steel cable can be shortened using a suitable tool.
• Make sure that the 4 steel cables are adjusted so that the LED panel is horizontally
aligned.
• Connect the mains lead to the mains voltage using the terminal block (brown cable
= L/phase, blue cable = N/neutral ). Be sure to use an appropriate protection against
accidental contact for the connetion, use e. g. a socket.
The mains lead must be fastened to one of the 4 steel cables using the clips
enclosed.
• Switch on the mains voltage again and make sure that the LED panel is function-
ing.
Maintenance and Care
• The product does not require maintenance. The LED lights used are permanently
installed; they cannot be replaced.
• Before cleaning, turn off the mains voltage. Furthermore, allow the LED panel to cool
down completely.
• The exterior of the LED panel should be wiped only with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Do
not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could damage the
housing (discolouring) or impair operation.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Disposal
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the
current statutory requirements.
