7. Installation and connection

a) Installation

Ensure that the connection cables are not kinked or

squashed. This can cause malfunctions, short circuits

and device defects. Do not connect the cables when

the product is connected to a power supply.

• Remove the upper part of the housing with the user

transponder sensor from the mounting plate. To do this,

unscrew the locking screw (4) on the bottom with the hex key

provided, and then remove the upper part of the housing.

• Use the mounting plate as a template; place it vertically on the

mounting surface and mark the two fixing holes.

• Drill the holes and, depending on the mounting surface, insert

the dowels (included). On wood or metal surfaces, the dowels

are not required.

Use the fixing screws, and if necessary, the dowels

provided to secure the housing (when securing to

walls). Ensure that no cables or wires are damaged

when drilling holes or tightening screws.

• Hang the mounting plate on the wall. The connection cable

should be fed through the cable feed in the middle of the rear

panel.
