Setup / Configuration
Configuration of a PILOT X can be done with any computer, tablet or smartphone which is connected
via WiFi with the PILOT X. The connection can be established either directly with the PILOT X Hotspot
or, if PILOT X is already connected in the same WiFi network, through this network.
On the first setup you must use the Hotpot connection which you can find in the next chapter. Other
options can be found at 4.4 WiFi Interface.
It is recommended to use the Hotspot to link the PILOT X to an existing WiFi and continue in this
connection.
2.1 PILOT X Hotspot
When PILOT X is turned on for the first time you can hear
“Hotspot active”. Now you are able to see a WiFi called
“pilot”.

Open the WiFi settings in your device

Choose the WiFi called
“pilot“
•
Type in the network key
“
Key4Pilo“
(case sensitive).

Open your Browser
•
Go to the address line and type in the IP address
192.168.4.1,
now press Enter.
WiFi Hotspot:
SSID:
pilot
Network Key:
Key4Pilo
Tip:

In Windows 10 you may be asked for a network pin. Click on the link
“Connect with
network key“ before you co
ntinue.

There might be message that there is no internet connection available. Please confirm
that you want to keep the WiFi connectionwith “pilot”.
