Copying IR Signals

Click on the button
“
IR-
Rec“
-
LED 1 on PILOT X starts flashing blue, this means it is
waiting for an IR signal.

Point the remote control in direction of the PILOT X
and press the button you want to copy. Hold the button
as long as you would do for use.

LED 1 lights up brighter when the buffer is full or the
Button is released. Now LED 1 flashes quicker.
Press the button on your remote again for about the
same time as the first time.

LED 1 turns off when the second signal is stored.
Testing IR Signals

Click on the button

Test

LED 1 lights up in white while the signal is sent.

Please check if the desired function works at the
receiver.

Please press again the button
“
Test
“

Make sure that also the second stored signal works
as it should.

If the desired function did work both times as it should
the signals are stored correctly.
Tip:
-
Please make sure that there is no directly interfering light which can cause a wrongly
stored signal.

The IR receiver in PILOT X is located at the top end in the middle. It is sensitive enough to
point your remote in direction of PILOT X. The distance should not be more than 1 m.
Depending on the room light or transmitting power you may need to try closer.

If there is a problem while storing the signal, LED 1 lights up red briefly. Please try again
to copy the signal then. Stored signals are overwritten.
Tip:

You can change the repetition counter before testing to find the right transmission time.
The counter is used for both signals.
