Attach Pirates Ladder to 4'' x 4'' deck support at 4
locations using (2) 2'' Lag Screws per Eyes Strap as
shown in
(Fig. 46) and (Fig. 46a) .
2. Using two rope staples to secure the bottom of each
Pirate's Ladder rope. Tap two staples in place
approximately 1'' apart. Wrap the rope under the
2'' x 4''. Then thread the rope through both staples.
Double the rope back on itself and through the first
staple. Pull the rope tight and secure in place by
pounding staples in place. See
(Fig. 46b) .
3. On each of the four ropes, secure any excess length to
the 2'' x 4'' using 1 additonal rope staple.
