7.1 Safera safety technology
Blues and Jazz cooker hoods are both available
with the integrated Safera Siro cooker guard,
with or without fire extinguishing unit. Safera
Siro R without extinguishing unit is available
for separate installation for Salsa and Tango
cooker hoods. Safera’s user guide is supplied
with cooker hoods equipped with Safera safety
technology.
Safera warranty
Safera products are covered by Safera’s product
warranty. According to the terms of the
warranty, Safera’s warranty for material and
manufacturing faults is limited to the repair or
replacement of the defective product, unless
compulsory legislation states otherwise. Safera
makes no other warranty, such as a guarantee
of the product’s suitability for any general or
specific application.
The products do not lessen or eliminate the end
user’s responsibility to comply with applicable
statutory regulations, nor responsibility for
thoughtful use to prevent damage to property
or personal injury. The end user is responsible
to keep personal injury and property damage
insurance valid. Safera is not responsible for any
personal injury or property damage or economic
damage caused by a malfunction or product
failure, if compulsory legislation permits such a
restriction.
7.2 Control cable
(ITK03)
The Swegon CASA's control cable is designed
for use either for external control of the
cooker hood's shut-off damper or for reading
the damper position signal from the control
circuit card of the cooker hood.
Lighting function for use of external
damper control
The lighting comes on when opening the coo-
ker hood’s damper with external control. The
lighting goes out when closing the damper.
The lighting can also be controlled as normal
using the cooker hood’s lighting button while
in external control mode.
The control cable is compatible with all the
Swegon CASA cooker hoods.
The control/status signal is a potential-free
switching signal.
7.3 ILVA-box transformer unit
(ITFB)
The unit enables you to control a ventilation
unit or a power roof ventilator if you install an
ILVA-box transformer unit in connection with
the cooker hood.
The ILVA-box is a transformer unit which ena-
bles three-speed control of the ventilation or a
power roof ventilator from the cooker hood,
as well as provides on/off switching of the
ventilation/power roof ventilator, if required.
The factory setting for ILVA-box control of the
cooker hood is Forced Control, without any
OFF mode.
