6. Service and maintenance
Be sure to clean the cooker hood regularly. If
the cooker hood is not kept clean, grease can
collect on its surfaces and cause a fire.
Surfaces
Clean the surfaces of the cooker hood with a
damp cloth and mild dishwashing detergent.
Do not use abrasive (scouring) detergents or
solvents for cleaning.
Grease filter
Clean the filter about twice a month, for
normal use. Clean the filter by hand in warm
water. The grease filter should not be washed
in a dishwasher because machine dishwashing
detergent is too strong.
Error message
All the signal lamps on the panel lights up
three times in a minute if the ventilation unit
has a serious malfunction. Contact an autho-
rized service.
5. Use
Swegon CASA cooker hoods have a capacitive
touch screen integrated into the front glass
(except the Tango), with which you control
the cooker hood's and the ventilation unit's
operation. The signal lamps on the panel will
automatically become less bright when the
cooker hood is not in use. The Tango hood
has the same control functions and indica-
tions, but it is operated by push buttons
located on the right-hand side of the cooker
hood.
1. Selection of fan speed.
In a Swegon
CASA ventilation unit connected to
the ventilation system, you can select
between the Away, Home and Boost fan
speed modes. The period for operation
at boosted speed is preset to 60 minutes,
and after that period the ventilation unit
returns to the Home speed.
2. Fan speed indication.
The signal lamp indicates the speed of the
fans operating in the ventilation unit. From
left to right, the lamps indicate the Away,
Home and Boost fan speeds.
3. Cooker hood damper control.
The continuously open period for the
cooker hood’s damper is selectable in three
settings: 30, 60 or 120 minutes. Each press
of the button increases the damper-open
time one step and the fourth press of the
button closes the damper.
4. Open damper indication.
The number of signal lamps indicate the
continuously open period selected for the
damper. The damper is closed if no lamp is lit.
1 lamp = 30 minutes
2 lamps = 60 minutes
3 lamps = 120 minutes
