Customizing your Camera Settings
Lets you set a name for your camera so that you can easily identify
it in the
Devices area. You can also view technical information
about the camera and network settings.
•
EID: The unique electronic ID of the camera.
• Local Name: Enter a name that you would like to apply for your
camera, which is displayed in the Devices area.
• Ethernet/Wi-Fi IP address: Displays the IP address assigned to
the camera.
• WAN Status: Indicates the camera’s current connection to the
Internet. “ Online ” indicates that the camera is connected to
the Internet, “ Offline ” indicates that the camera is either not
connected to the Internet or that the internet is currently turned
off.
• Current version: Displays the current firmware version.
Name
To go to the Camera Settings screen, click Devices at the left side of the screen, and then click the button associated with your camera.
The available settings are:
Lets you configure your camera’s system clock. It’s important that
your camera has the correct date and time to ensure recorded
events are properly time stamped and the alarm schedule is
triggered at the right time.
• Date and Time: Set the camera clock to current date and time by
inputting the respective year, month, day, hour and minute and
time fields.
• Time Zone: Select the time zone for your region.
