WUS (0.1s)
Here you can set in 100ms steps how long a wakeup sequence will be sent. If the value is 0, no wakeup
sequence is sent.

Main functions
Addressing
If addressing is activated, an address must be entered before a transmission. As soon as the address has been entered, the system
switches to the function view. The address used now is displayed in the header. This address remains valid until the hand-held
transmitter is restarted, switched to standby mode or the key is pressed. If one of these cases occurs, a new address must be entered.
If there is a valid address, the transmitter uses it for communication with a receiver. Only the receivers that have been learned with this
address will respond to the transmitter. In this way, single receivers can be targeted with one transmitter. All the usual functions
(transmission data) can be used to control the receivers.
It can be set whether an address has the length 1, 2 or 3. Thus, up to 10, 100 or 1000 receivers can be specifically controlled.
If a definition is used where an address is specified that is not equal to 0, this specified address is always used, regardless of
the previous address entry.
Key lock
The key lock is used to protect the hand-held transmitter from unauthorised access and to prevent accidental activation. The key lock is
active after a restart, after returning from standby mode or after pressing the
key. To unlock the keypad and perform an action, the
unlock code must be entered. The factory default code is "123".
It is essential to ensure that a newly set code is not lost. If the code is lost when the key lock is active, the hand-held
transmitter becomes unusable.
Wakeup sequence (WUS)
A wakeup sequence is used to wake up receivers that may be in sleep mode. For this purpose, very short messages are sent in very
fast sequence before the actual transmission is sent. How long this sequence is sent can be set in the menu.
A wakeup sequence is not sent before every transmission. Only if the hand-held transmitter has been restarted, was in standby mode
or the
key has been pressed, the sequence will be sent before the transmission.
Secure Mode
When Secure Mode is enabled, data is re-encrypted in addition to the default security level. In addition, double authentication is
performed during communication using a 24-bit pseudo-stochastic key. The lifetime of this key is max. 300ms and is constantly
regenerated. Communication is thus protected against both, replay and emulation attacks. Secure communication is indicated by a lock
icon in the display header.
It should be noted that the increased complexity of communication can lead to a smaller operating range and less stable
communication.
The secure mode can only be used with receivers from the receiver versoin HSV xx.33 upwards.
