LookUp Table 

The LookUp Table Feature (LUT) lets the user define certain values to 
every bit value that comes from the ADC. 
To visualize a LUT a curve diagram can be used, similar to the diagrams 
used in photo editing software. 

The shown custom curve indicates a contrast increase by applying an S-
shaped curve. The maximum resolution is shifted to the mid-range. 
Contrasts in this illumination range is increased while black values will be 
interpreted more black and more of the bright pixels will be displayed as 
100 % white...
