FINAL GEAR OIL
Place the vehicle on a level ground.
Check the final gear oil levels as follows. Remove the
oil level bolt. If the oil level is below the level hole,
add the gear oil through the filler hole until the oil
flows out from the level hole. Replace the oil level bolt
and the oil filler plug tighten them securely.

Test ride the vehicle checking all mechanical func-
tions. Tighten all nuts, bolts and miscellaneous
mounting parts to the proper torque specs.
Confirm that all cables and wiring harnesses are con-
nected and routed correctly.
IDLE SPEED ADJUSTMENT
After completing all of the servicing procedures and
the test ride, adjust the engine idle speed by turning
the throttle stop screw knob.
Engine idle speed:1 400–1 600 r/min

NOTE:
Use hypoid gear oil SAE 90, API grade GL-5.
If the vehicle is ridden where the ambient tem-
perature is below 0°C or 32°F, Use the hypoid
gear oil SAE 80 API grade GL-5.
NOTE:
The engine idle should be adjusted with
engine warmed up.
