Recording
1. Press the TEMPO/KEY button to open the Tempo/
Key screen.
2. Press the joystick down one time to open the Tempo
& Key [Bal & Lvl] screen.
3. Turn the jog wheel to select Mix Mode. The Mix
Mode settings are explained in the chart below.

4. Playback Level. Turn FUNCTION ADJUST # 1(4A) to
adjust Playback Level. Playback Level can be adjusted
between -20

(0%) and -0.0

(100%) in 0.5 dB
(1%) increments. The default setting is 0

(100%).
5. Playback Balance. Playback Balance can be adjusted
in 1% increments between "Left 100% ~ Center ~
Right100%" by turning FUNCTION ADJUST #2 (4B).
The default setting is Center. For a description of
Playback Balance behavior, see Balance Mode below.
6. Balance Mode. In normal operation (Stereo),
a Playback Balance setting of ‘Left 100%’ will
completely mute the Right channel. Likewise, a
Playback Balance setting of ‘Right 100%’ will mute
the Left channel.
When transcribing an instrument that is solidly in one
channel (Right or Left), it can be useful to move the
desired channel into both channels, rather than muting
the opposing channel, i.e., silencing one speaker or one
side of a pair of headphones.
