3. Once an input is selected, push the joystick up to
view the Input Select [Effect] screen.
4. Turn the jog wheel to select the effect type from the
table below. The default setting is OFF.
Effect Type Settings
Effect Description
OFF No effect
Room
Adds ambience similar to that of a small to
medium sized room
Hall Adds ambience similar to that of a large hall
Plate Imitates the sound of a plate reverb unit
Delay Adds discrete echoes to the sound source
5. If Room, Hall, or Plate is selected as the Effect Type,
the only parameter to adjust is the Mix Level. The
Mix Level setting controls the balance between direct
signal (0%) and processed signal (100%).
6. If Delay is selected as the Effect Type, the following
additional parameters should be adjusted:

Delay Time
Delay Time sets the amount of time delay between
repeats.
Delay Time can be adjusted between 0 msec and 1000
msec in 1 msec intervals. The default setting is 500 msec.
Turn FUNCTION ADJUST # 2 (4B) to adjust Delay Time.
Press FUNCTION ADJUST # 2 (4B) to return to the default
setting.
Decay
Decay sets the amount of attenuation for each successive
repeat. The greater the attenuation, the quicker the
echoes will fade away. Decay can be adjusted between
-20.00 and -3.00
㏈ in 0.25 ㏈ steps.
The default is setting is -14.00dB. Turn FUNCTION
ADJUST # 3 to adjust Decay. Press FUNCTION ADJUST #
3 to return to the default setting.
Playback Balance and Level
The PSD410 offers a great deal of flexibility when
determining Playback Balance. Follow these steps to alter
the Balance and Level of any file played by the PSD410.
