The power supply for the SC835 chassis is redundant and hot-swappable, meaning
that the power supply can be changed without powering down the system.

The SC835 chassis includes a redundant power supply (at least two power 1.
modules). The server may continue running if only one power supply module
is removed at a time.
Unplug the power supply that will be replaced. 2.
Push the release tab on the back of the power supply. 3.
Pull the power supply out using the handle. 4.
Replace the failed power module with another of the same model. 5.
Push the new power supply module into the power bay until it clicks into the 6.
locked position.
