Manual Organization
Chapter 1
describes the features, specifications and performance of the mainboard
and provides detailed information about the chipset.
Chapter 2 provides hardware installation instructions. Read this chapter when
installing the processor, memory modules and other hardware components into
the system.
If you encounter any problems, see
Chapter 3 , which describes troubleshooting
procedures for the video, the memory and the system setup stored in CMOS.
Chapter 4 includes an introduction to BIOS and provides detailed information on
running the CMOS Setup utility.
Appendix A provides BIOS POST Messages. Appendix B provides Driver soft-
ware installation instructions. Appendix C are setup instructions for the Intel Active
Management Techology (AMT), and Appendix D describes the BIOS Recovery
instructions.

This manual is written for system integrators, PC technicians and knowledgable
PC users. It provides information for the installation and use of the
C7SIM-Q motherboard. The C7SIM-Q supports a single Intel® Core
TM
i7, Core i5,
Core i3 and Pentium® processor series in an LGA1156 socket. Featuring the In-
tel Q57 Express, the C7SIM-Q also offers substantial enhancement in price/sys-
tem performance ratio in a cost-effective, small form-factor package. Please refer
