2-6 Checking the Serverboard Setup
After you install the server in the rack, you will need to open the unit to make sure
the serverboard is properly installed and all the connections have been made.
Removing the Chassis Cover (Figure 2-7)
1. Remove the three screws securing the top cover to the chassis.
2. Press both of the release tabs at the same time to release the cover
3. Slide the cover toward the rear of the chassis.
4. Lift the cover up and off of the chassis.

caution: Except for short periods of time, do not operate the server without the
cover in place. The chassis cover must be in place to allow proper airflow and
prevent overheating.
