sSATA Configuration
sSATA Controller
This feature enables or disables the onboard sSATA controller supported by the Intel PCH.
The options are
Enable
and Disable.
Configure sSATA as
Select AHCI to configure an sSATA drive specified by the user as an AHCI drive. Select RAID
to configure an sSATA drive specified by the user as a RAID drive. The options are
AHCI
and RAID.
sSATA RSTe Boot Info (Available when "Configure sSATA as" is set to RAID)
Select Enable for full int13h support which will allow the system to boot using a device attached
to the SATA controller. The options are Disable and
Enable
.
Note
: For this feature to work properly, please set the CSM Storage OPROM policy
to Legacy.
Support Aggressive Link Power Management
When this feature is set to Enable, the sSATA AHCI controller manages the power use of the
sSATA link. The controller will put the link in a low power mode during an extended period of
I/O inactivity, and will return the link to an active state when I/O activity resumes. The options
are
Disable
and Enable.
