Air Shroud

Cooling is also improved by installing the standard air shroud. Insert it over the CPUs.

Power Supply

The SYS-2049U-TR4 has a 1600 Watt redundant hot-plug power supply consisting of two
power modules. They have an auto-switching capability, which enables them to automatically
sense and operate at a 100V-240VAC input voltage.
If either of the two power supply modules fail, the other module will take the full load and
allow the system to continue operation without interruption. The Power Fail LED will illuminate
and remain on until the failed unit has been replaced. Replacement units can be ordered
directly from Supermicro.
