SGPIO Headers
Four SGPIO (Serial General Purpose
Input/Output) headers are included on the
serverboard. These headers are used to
communicate with the System Monitoring
chip on the backplane. T-SGPIO0 and
T-SGPIO1 are used to monitor SATA
activity while 3-SGPIO0 and 3-SGPIO1
are used for SAS activity (6015V-M3
only). See the table on the right for pin
defi nitions.

may be used to monitor the status of
the power supply, fan and system tem-

Note: NC indicates no connection.
Power LED/Speaker
On the JD1 header, pins 1-3 are for
a power LED and pins 4-7 are for the
speaker. See the table on the right for
speaker pin defi nitions.
Note: The speaker connector pins are
for use with an external speaker. If you
wish to use the onboard speaker, you
should close pins 6-7 with a jumper.
