Replacing Fans
Four 9-cm fans circulate air through the chassis to lower the internal temperature. These
fans are designed to be easily changed, with no tools required and no need to remove any
other parts inside the chassis.
Replacing a Fan
1. Visually inspect the fans to see which one has failed.
2. Push both release tabs on the fan inward.
3. Remove the fan from the chassis. The wiring will disconnect automatically.
4.
Insert a new fan into the housing, making sure that the air flow direction matches the
other fans.
5.
Confirm that the fan is working with the system powered on.
