5-7 Installing the Rear Exhaust Fan

The chassis includes a 12 cm rear exhaust fan that provides cooling. The chassis
also features a set of mounting holes which will support a standard 9 cm exhaust
fan (fan not included).

Installing the Exhaust Fan

1. Power down the system as described in Section 5-1 and remove the chassis

cover.

2. Place the fan on top of the fan grill, aligning the mounting holes of the fan grill

with the mounting holes of the system fan.

3. Secure the fan to the chassis with four screws.

4. Connect the fan cable to the motherboard.

5. Replace the chassis cover, plug the power cord into the rear of the power supply

and power up the system.
