SC417 JBOD Chassis Manual

3-3  Control Panel LEDs

There are four LEDs that provide status information about the system. The HDD 
activity LED and the NIC2 LED are not used in the JBOD system. 

Power

The main power switch applies or removes primary power from the power supply to 
the JBOD Control Board but maintains standby power. To perform most maintenance 
tasks, unplug the system to remove all power.

Reset

Press this button for ten seconds to reset the IP address of the JBOD Control Board 
to the default static address. This address is used for IPMI.

3-2  Control Panel Buttons

The chassis includes two push-buttons that control power to the system.

Power

Indicates power is being supplied to the system power supply units. This LED is 
illuminated when the system is operating normally. 

HDD

This indicator is not used in the JBOD system.
